Terahertz Time-Domain Spectroscopy (THz-TDS)

Steady state studies (non-time-resolved) have focused on two principal areas: neat liquids and binary mixtures. Our studies on neat liquids were instrumental in assessing the performance of the spectrometer and provided the non-photoexcited spectra needed in our time-resolved experiments. The studies of binary mixtures grew out of the work with neat liquids when we observed substantial changes in the optical constants of binary mixtures.
