Chemistry
placement information for the class of 2016 can be viewed at the Chemistry
Placement 2012 site on the classesv2 server starting the beginning of August.
To find your placement follow the instructions below:
How to access your
Chemistry placement information
- Log in with
your NetID at http://classesv2.yale.edu.
- Under "My
Active Sites" look for "Chem Placement
2012" under Project Sites and click on this link.
- Once the Chem Placement 2012 site opens, click on the Post'Em tab to the left. Opening the placement file on
the next page will produce your placement results.
- Now return to
the "Home" tab. This page explains your initial placement, how
to receive further advice, and how to gain entry to more advanced courses.
What if I can't
find the Chem Placement 2012 site?
- Log in with
your NetID at http://classesv2.yale.edu.
- Under "My
Workspace" click "Membership" and then "Joinable Sites."
- In the search
box on the right side of the screen, type "Chem
Placement 2012" and then click "Search." You will see the Chem Placement 2012 site and under it the word "Join"
that you should click.
- If you then
see the disconcerting message that there are no joinable sites matching
your search of "Chem Placement 2012" you'll know
you have now successfully joined the site.
- Click the Tab
for "Chem Placement 2012" either on
the top of the screen or under the "My Active Sites" tab.
- Now Click on
the Post'Em tab. Opening the placement file on
the next page will produce your placement results.
- Next return to
the "Home" tab. This page explains your initial placement, how
to receive further advice, and how to gain entry to more advanced courses.
