Visiting Day

Welcome to Yale! We are delighted that you are planning to visit with us during Visiting Days 2010, March 25 and 26. The links on this page should help you plan your visit to Yale and organize your activities while you are in New Haven.

Step One Please review the research interests of our faculty and identify at least 5-6 individuals with whom you would like to interact during your stay.

Step Two Please contact our Admissions Administrator, Ms. Karen Sampara, by phone (203 432 3915) or email to plan your visit.

Step Three Once you visit has been arranged, find your host and download your schedule of meetings with faculty.

A map of the Yale campus is available as are schedules for the Visiting Day shuttle bus (coming soon). Extra-curricular events include:

Trip to GPSCY (evening of March 25) Yale's popular graduate student nightspot.

Bowling Excursion (evening of March 25) If you're not up for GPSCY but still want to continue your evening, our students would love to take you bowling. They guarantee a good time!

Yale Campus Tour An informative 30 min bus tour of Yale and New Haven. Pick up will be at in the Sterling Chemistry Laboratory (SCL) lobby. Drop off will be at the hotels and SCL.

Bru Room at Bar (evening of March 26) Please join your host for a casual dinner at New Haven's favorite place for pizza and microbrew.
